Are you looking for a beginner’s Dutch course? Then choose a Beginner’s Dutch course at Babel. In small groups, you’ll learn the basics of this beautiful language in a short amount of time. Ideal for anyone who wants to master Dutch!

No matter what your level is, we always have a course that’s right for you: from language courses for beginners to exam preparation for the State Exam. Most courses are offered both in person and in the virtual classroom.

Are you interested in taking a Dutch (NT2) course at Babel for the first time? With the placement test, you can assess your current language level for free and with no obligation. The placement test takes about 60 minutes and will be graded by one of our instructors within 5 business days.

Would you like to take a Dutch as a Second Language course to prepare for the State Exam or the Integration Exam? If so, you can apply for a DUO loan. You can apply for a loan through DUO. After that, you can schedule an appointment for a personal intake session at Babel. You can enroll in a course once you’ve completed this intake session. Learn more about enrolling with a DUO Loan.

• On-site class in Utrecht
  Are you interested in in-person classes? If so, you’ll take Dutch lessons in small groups at our historic building on Nieuwegracht in Utrecht. Our building is very centrally located and easy to reach. It’s a 10-minute walk from the train station to Babel. Plus, we have plenty of parking if you’d rather drive.
• Class in the virtual classroom
  The virtual classroom is an online classroom. Together with your fellow students, you’ll take classes led by an experienced language teacher. In addition to all the features of a real classroom, the virtual classroom also offers fun online tools, such as an interactive whiteboard and live quizzes.

For those with special needs or a busy schedule, a customized language course is an attractive option. These courses are available both on an individual and group basis.
