Quality marks and quality control
We are members of the NRTO, the leading trade association for professional training providers in the Netherlands. In addition, We hold the NRTO quality mark, which demonstrates that we operate in accordance with clear quality standards and that we adhere to the NRTO’s code of conduct. Our working methods are regularly assessed by external bodies. This provides our course participants and bespoke clients with certainty and transparency.
Blik op Werk plays a key role in integration by independently assessing the quality of integration schools. In this way, Blik op Werk helps new arrivals to choose a good school and supports schools in ensuring the quality of their teaching.
Babel is accredited by Blik op Werk for integration programmes. This means we meet high quality standards, assessed through classroom visits and interviews with students, teachers and the teaching team. These inspections show that our approach works. Read more about our positive assessment.
Cedeo is an independent organisation that assesses the quality of training institutions and the satisfaction of their clients. Cedeo accreditation means that over 80% of our bespoke clients are satisfied with our language training. Cedeo’s latest survey revealed that 98% of Babel’s bespoke clients are satisfied. Networking and professional collaboration
Babel is a member of NUT (Dutch University Language Centres). This demonstrates that we operate in accordance with recognised quality standards in the areas of educational philosophy, assessment of learning outcomes, course materials, evaluation and teacher qualifications. In addition, we discuss developments in the field with other language centres, exchange experiences and learn from one another. CercleS is a European network of over 400 language centres in higher education. It stands for quality, collaboration and innovation in language teaching. Babel collaborates with other language centres via CercleS to improve teaching, keep pace with international developments and actively contribute to the professionalisation of language teaching.
