About Italian 3

This course is suitable if you have completed Italian level 2 or if you have achieved level A1- through other means, for example by successfully completing the Allegro 1 teaching method or the Con Piacere 1 teaching method (up to chapter 6). Not sure what your language level is? Then take our free placement test.

In this course, you will learn to express yourself even better in Italian.

  • You learn to tell more about yourself: what your background is, what you do in daily life and what your dreams and ambitions are.
  • You will work with Italian texts. As the course progresses, you will be able to understand the main idea of most Italian texts and summarise them briefly.
  • You will also continue to improve your writing and speaking skills. You can thus start a conversation with your fellow students or business contacts with more confidence. These skills will also come in handy when writing Italian letters and e-mails.
  • Knowledge of Italian culture is essential: you will therefore learn all about Italian forms of address, expressions, etc.

Enrolling in an Italian course? Then you get a free membership of the cultural association Dante Alighieri in Utrecht! This way, you can participate in cultural events and lectures throughout the year.

Learning goals
