About the Exam B2+ for Medical professions - all parts

Did you earn your medical degree abroad and want to start working in healthcare here? To work in the Dutch healthcare sector, registration in the BIG Register is mandatory. Healthcare professionals must obtain a language certificate to do so. The language level required for academic professions is B2+. This group of healthcare providers must obtain the B2+ language certificate in order to apply for BIG registration.

This is a standalone exam for the Language Certificate. If you pass both parts of the exam, you will receive your B2+ language certificate, which allows you to apply for your BIG registration. This is an important step toward working in the healthcare sector in the Netherlands.

Preparation for the test is not included. If you are taking the test, you already have a good command of Dutch. Want to prepare thoroughly? Babel also offers courses to help you bring your language skills up to the required level and take the exam with confidence. For example, check out the Dutch B2+ Course for Medical Professionals, which includes the language certification exam.
