About the Brush up your Dutch course - package the tenses + word order (e-learning)
Do you want to use the correct word order and verb tenses with more confidence? In this e-learning course, you’ll learn step by step how to construct proper Dutch sentences, where words should be placed in a sentence, and how to use verbs in Dutch. You’ll review the most important theory on these topics and practice it through listening, reading, writing, and speaking exercises. You’ll quickly notice your progress in Dutch.
This e-learning package consists of two modules, which can also be taken separately:
In 2 modules:
- put your words in the right places in long sentences;
- form sentences using inversion;
- Write your main clauses and subordinate clauses;
- Form sentences with two or three verbs;
- combine your sentences using conjunctions;
- are you using the correct form of the verb;
- choose the correct tense of the verb;
- Put the verbs in the correct places in a sentence;
- you’ll improve your writing, speaking, reading, and listening skills related to verb usage.

The e-learning takes 7 weeks to complete. You will have access to the module for 9 weeks.

You can take this e-learning course if your Dutch is at least at the A1 level. You can combine the course with a regular A2 course or B1 Course. If your Dutch is at the B1 level, you can also take this course separately. The course is taught in Dutch.

Approach
This e-learning consists of a short introduction and 7 chapters: main clause, main clause with inversion, subclause, presens, perfectum, imperfectum and futurum.
Teaching Materials
Each chapter begins with an explanation of the theory, followed by several exercises. The e-learning also includes writing and speaking assignments that you turn in.
Teachers
During the e-learning, you will receive personal guidance from an experienced instructor. You can ask the instructor questions and you will receive targeted feedback on the assignments you turn in.
