In this e-learning course, you’ll learn step by step how to construct proper Dutch sentences and where words should be placed within a sentence. Word order in Dutch can often be tricky, which is why we’ll go over the most important theory in detail. You’ll practice with different sentence structures and learn how to correctly use one or more verbs within these structures. With explanations and plenty of practical exercises, you’ll quickly notice progress in constructing correct Dutch sentences.

Word order in 3 chapters:

• put your words in the right places in long sentences;
• form sentences using inversion;
• Write your main clauses and subordinate clauses;
• Form sentences with two or three verbs;
• Combine your sentences using conjunctions.

You can take this e-learning course if your Dutch is at least at the A1 level. You can combine the course with a regular A2 Course or B1 course. If your language level is B1, you can also take this course on its own. The course is taught in Dutch.
