About Dutch level 1+2+3 course (A0 → A2-) - e-learning

Do you want to prepare thoroughly for your stay in the Netherlands? Or do you already live in the Netherlands and want to study flexibly at times that suit you? This interactive Dutch e-learning package consists of the following three modules, which you can also take individually.

In this interactive e-learning course, you’ll work on practical topics that relate to real-life situations. Step by step, you’ll improve your writing, speaking, listening, and reading skills in Dutch. You’ll submit assignments and receive personalized feedback from an instructor, allowing you to continue learning in a targeted way. You’ll work at your own pace, progressing from level A0 to language level A2-. No prior knowledge of Dutch is required for this e-learning course.

Dutch in 12 themes:

  • have simple conversations in Dutch about everyday activities, such as your free time and hobbies;
  • you will learn to understand and use the most important Dutch words and phrases;
  • you will build a basic understanding of Dutch grammar;
  • You’ll learn about daily life in the Netherlands, for example in terms of transportation, leisure, and housing.

After completing this e-learning course, you’ll feel better prepared for a (temporary) stay in the Netherlands and for interacting with Dutch people.

How do I know which Dutch language level suits me?

To make sure you enrol at the right level, you can take our free placement test. This test will help you assess your current level of Dutch. Once you’ve completed it, the test will be marked by one of our experienced teachers, who will provide you with personalised feedback. That way, you’ll know exactly which level suits you best.

Can I catch up on a missed Dutch class?

Unfortunately, in group courses it is not possible to make up a missed lesson, because the lessons take place at fixed times for the whole group. Through the lesson materials, homework and lesson plan in MyBabel, you can work through the missed material independently so that you can continue to follow the course well.

Can I pay for my Dutch course in installments?

You pay the course fee in a single payment. You can do this upon registration via iDEAL, credit card, or by having your employer pay the invoice.

How flexible is a language course via e-learning?

With e-learning, you take classes when and where it suits you. Many students choose e-learning because they want to combine targeted learning with work, study or a busy family life. You largely determine your own pace and can often start immediately.
