Do you regularly speak English for work as a team leader or manager and do you want to further improve your skills? In this Advanced Business English course, you will focus on your professional communication in English using business related topics. You will expand your professional vocabulary, learn to speak more fluently and improve your professional skills. Each participant will have the opportunity to practise a short presentation or pitch. In addition, there is ample attention for the intercultural aspects of working in an international environment.
Who is it for?
This course has been developed for professionals and students who want to increase their vocabulary, fluency and professional skills for their business English. The course is suitable for higher professional education and university graduates who have a command of English at B2 level.

Learning goals
In 9 lessons of Business English, you will:
- learn how to maintain an international network.
- speak with greater persuasiveness.
- substantiate your opinions more effectively in meetings.

- expand your intercultural knowledge.
In this course, you will work towards language level C1. In addition, after this course, you will be able to give a confident presentation to your colleagues, answer questions appropriately and come across as professional when it matters. You will lay a solid foundation for follow-up lessons (Business English for Advanced Learners C1 – C2 course). If you have actively participated in at least 80% of the sessions, you will receive a certificate of participation from us.

Approach
We work in small groups and in pairs. This allows you to practise intensively with realistic business situations, such as meetings, presentations and professional conversations. You will speak English as much as possible during the lessons, so that you can make faster progress and build more confidence.
Teaching materials
You will work with the book “Business Result Upper-intermediate”, supplemented with additional worksheets and videos. The material ties in with current business themes and helps you to apply the language directly in your own work situation. This way, you will not only learn the rules, but above all what works in practice.
Teachers
You will be taught by an experienced teacher who is attentive to your learning goals and areas for development. You will receive regular, targeted feedback on your language use, pronunciation and communication. The teacher will guide you step by step through the material and provide a safe learning environment with plenty of opportunity to practise.
