About the Language Booster Writing B2 Dutch
Do you find it difficult to strike the right tone or to express your message clearly? Does writing a text take a lot of your time and energy? In this course, you’ll focus on improving your writing skills at the B2 level. You’ll practice structuring your text, choosing the right tone and style, and learn how to better engage your reader in your story. You’ll also discover how to use AI effectively as a writing tool.
In 8 Dutch lessons:
- you write well-organized texts;
- do you know how to keep your readers engaged;
- use punctuation appropriately;
- write more clearly and persuasively;
- improve your writing process, from idea to short text or email;
- you’ll write with more enjoyment and confidence.
In this course, you will work toward achieving a B1 level of proficiency in writing. By the end of the course, you will be able to write in Dutch with greater precision, ease, and confidence.
After completing the course, you can continue to improve your speaking skills with The Language Booster: Speaking B2 Dutch.

This course is right for you if you want to work purposefully on improving your writing skills. You focus only on what you need right now: learning to write better, more fluently and more confidently at B2-level. You can follow this course if you have completed our course Dutch for Advanced (B2) or if you have achieved language level B2 through other means. You work actively and independently on your learning goals, both in class and during self-study. The course is taught in Dutch.

Method
Our teaching method combines a structured approach with hands-on working methods. The lessons are active, personal, varied and practical. There is always attention for your learning style, pace and level. Curious about how we design this course?
Approach
In this course, you will learn effectively using a blended approach; both at home and in class, you will engage with course materials designed by Babel. During the course, you will work on a series of writing assignments for your portfolio. Each assignment will be graded satisfactory or unsatisfactory. In lesson 8 you will make two final assignments in class; you will also receive a grade for these. You will complete the course if you receive a passing grade for all portfolio assignments and the final assignment.
Teaching Materials
During the first lesson you will receive a reader that we will work with mainly during class. You do preparatory work at home so that there is plenty of time to practice and deepen during the meetings.
Teachers
You will be taught by an experienced tutor who will give you targeted feedback on your writing and help you make visible progress. The tutor guides you step by step through the writing process.
Certificate of Participation
You will receive a certificate of participation from us if you have actively participated in at least 80% of the meetings.
