About English Pre-Intermediate course (A1 → A2)
Do you want to learn English quickly and effectively? In this Basic English Course, you’ll improve your language skills so you can speak with greater confidence in everyday situations. You’ll practice with familiar scenarios, such as introducing yourself, making arrangements, or having a conversation about everyday topics. This will help you feel more confident, understand others better, and express yourself more clearly in English.
In 18 English lessons:
- introduce yourself clearly and talk about everyday topics;
- you can make a reservation and order something to eat or drink;
- Describe events, places, and people more simply;
- use the key verb forms correctly in a sentence;
- expand your basic vocabulary for everyday conversations;
- you’ll speak with more confidence in familiar situations.
Standard or Intensive Option
This course consists of 18 sessions and is available in two options. With the standard option, you attend class once a week. If you choose the intensive option, you attend class twice a week and complete the course at a faster pace. The content and learning objectives are the same for both options.
In this course, you will work toward language level A2. In addition, by the end of the course, you will speak with greater ease, form clear sentences, and understand more conversations and texts in English. After the course, you can continue with the English Course for Intermediate Learners (A2 → B1).

Approach
You practice a lot in pairs, small groups and class. You will work with situations from everyday life, so that you can use English directly in conversations that are relevant to you. You will have plenty of room to speak, make mistakes and learn from them in a safe environment. You will also be encouraged to learn outside the classroom.
Teaching Materials
You work with the book “English File Pre-Intermediate,” supplemented by online exercises, homework and a pronunciation app. The material helps you practice grammar, vocabulary, listening and speaking in a practical way. You can also download a special Pronunciation App to use with the course. Before the start of the course, we will inform you how to easily order the learning materials so that you can start your lesson well prepared.
Teachers
You will be taught by an experienced teacher who has an eye for your learning goals and development points. You will regularly receive targeted feedback on your language use, pronunciation and communication. The teacher responds to the needs of the group and provides a safe, motivating learning environment in which you grow step by step.
Certificate of Participation
You will receive a certificate of participation from us if you have actively participated in at least 80% of the meetings.
