The Business English course helps you to develop your business communication skills in English at B1 level. We use a practical, hands-on approach that focuses on your personal needs, useful learning strategies, regular feedback and active participation.

We offer practical exercises with an emphasis on cooperative work and task-based activities, such as short presentations. Vocabulary development will be done in class and at home. Grammar will be revised when necessary. You will receive regular feedback on your spoken and written performance.

Time Investment

The Business English course consists of 3 sessions of 7 hours at Babel in Utrecht. The advised self-study load is 2,5 hours per course day.

Practical

The language of instruction is English.

We offer practical exercises with an emphasis on cooperative work and task-based activities, such as short presentations. Vocabulary development will be done in class and at home. Grammar will be revised when necessary. You will receive regular feedback on your spoken and written performance.

Active participation is preferred during the course meetings and ample time for self-study, preferably spread out evenly over the week. You will receive a certificate of participation if you attend at least 2,5 daypart of the sessions.

If you work or study at Utrecht University you will receive a 25% discount.
