About this course
In this course you will work on your communication skills in a business setting. Together with an experienced language trainer you’ll work on your business German with a practice-oriented approach. Through discussions with your fellow students you will improve your fluency and expand your vocabulary. You’ll also work on your writing skills by writing short texts, emails and other messages.
Because this course focuses on your specific working environment, you can quickly use what you learned in practice. This course is suitable if you have German language level B1. Are you not sure what your language level is? Take our free level test.

Method
- By discussing present-day themes in small groups, you will improve your communication skills.
- Through reading complex texts you will improve your reading skills and expand your vocabulary.
Time investment
- This German business course consists of 9 classes of 1 hour and 45 minutes.
- To make sure you learn as much from the classes as possible, we expect you to dedicate 2 to 3 hours a week to homework. You will receive lesson material and assignments for this, which will be discussed during class.
Practical
- The main spoken language of this course is German.
- You will receive a certificate of attendance if you attend 8 out of 9 classes.
