Executive Business English (C1)

Are you able to get by well in the workplace with your English, but do you want to make that extra effort for keynotes or your chairmanship? Would you like to be even more convincing in English? With this course you will dot the i’s and cross the t’s and bring more nuance to your message and your speaking skills together with other executives, senior managers and professionals.
About the course
During this course, you will take your business communication skills to a near native level. You will learn to speak convincingly in English. But also to make your point with the right nuance and in the right communication style, taking into account an intercultural environment.
During this course, you will work on practical assignments and simulation games at C1 level. For example, you will learn to explain complex business cases clearly, you will improve your ‘network skills’ and you will learn to negotiate or present effectively during meetings. In addition, you will learn to recognize different communication styles and to adapt your communication style to formal and informal contexts.
This course focuses on your specific work context, so that you can immediately put the acquired knowledge into practice. Thanks to the personal feedback and attention from our language trainers, your business English will quickly improve to a top level

Method
- During this interactive course there will be individual assignments, but we will also be working in pairs and small groups.
- You will receive regular, structured feedback on both your spoken work and delivery of presentations. Giving feedback to and receiving feedback from fellow students is also part of our didactic approach. We will guide you in this process.

Time Investment
In this course, you will work with others on varied speaking assignments. There is also plenty of room for discussing social themes, cultural differences and current affairs.
