Yalla Yalla
We work with the book Yalla Yalla! Part 2: an accessible Dutch-language method that focuses not only on language but also on culture, music, poetry, and customs in Arabic-speaking countries. This way, you not only learn what to say, but also when and why.
The Arabic lessons are active, personal, practical, and varied. The Arabic for beginners A1+ course is taught by a very enthusiastic teacher, born and raised in Syria, who has a great love for the Arabic language and culture. She has been working as a teacher in the Netherlands for many years and loves to share her love for Arabic with her students.
The teacher guides you step-by-step through the material in Yalla Yalla Part 2 and provides a safe learning environment in which you feel at ease to practice. You work in plenary, in groups and individually. These activities are designed by paying attention to your pace and learning style.
The focus is on speaking, but you also work on listening, reading, and writing. This way, you not only develop your language skills, but also the confidence to actually use them.
