This process helps us to ensure that you are registered for a course that is suited to your language level and needs. Afterwards, you will be asked to fill out a self-assessment questionnaire (via a Google Form) for you to reflect on your English skills and the impact your English knowledge and use have on work-related activities. The intake assessment is conducted fully online and is made up of 2 parts, first a written part and later an oral part. Ten minutes before your writing intake assessment is scheduled to take place, you will receive the written assignment you will need to complete and return to your assessor. You will have 50 minutes to do this followed by a 10-minute break. In addition, in the same email you will also receive a link inviting you to a virtual classroom for the oral part of the intake assessment, which takes place after the break. The assignments focus on the use of English in an international environment. You should expect to do some writing, reading, listening and speaking related to your job using professional language.
