Overview of our online language courses
Use an online language course from Babel to learn a new language at your own place. With a level of quality that you’re used to from Babel and with guidance from your own personal trainer. You can follow our online language courses in three ways:
- E-learning
When you follow an e-learning course, you watch videos, read the teaching materials and do online exercises. You will not have a fixed class time and you can work on the modules in your own pace. Our e-learning courses are accessible via tablet, laptop, mobile or PC. On written assignments, you will receive personal feedback from an experienced trainer. - Virtual classroom
The virtual classroom is best seen as the online version of a traditional classroom. In the virtual classroom, you and your fellow students follow interactive, real-time language classes taught by experienced teachers. The virtual classroom offers you fun online tools, such as an interactive whiteboard and live quizzes. - Blended
Blended learning is a combination of language classes and e-learning. It is, of course, possible to follow the language classes in the virtual classroom.

With the personal feedback of our language trainers, you can work on the specific issues and pitfalls that bother you most. Receive feedback that helps you improve your language level in a practical manner. Your trainer is always available to answer the questions that you might have.

In this online course Dutch level 1 (online) for beginners, you will practise all language skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. Learn how to introduce yourself and how to order something in Dutch.
Academic writing in English (e-learning)
Improve your English language skills in a practical manner. Improve your: grammar, word order and/or vocabulary at your own pace.
