About the Business English (blended) course
This interactive and challenging blended Business English course will help you to improve your language skills from wherever you are. The language trainers will guide you through the course and provide you with useful tips, tools and exercises along the way ensuring you improve both your English language and professional business skills.
During the course, we will also have the opportunity to meet each other for two half day sessions. This will enable you to practise and improve your fluency and also receive feedback on your pronunciation and word choice.

This course focuses on 8 units covering business related subjects ranging from ‘First Impressions’ to ‘Decision making’. Every unit is build around a topic and covers the different language skills of listening, speaking, reading, vocabulary development and writing.

This course is applicable if you have at least level B2 CEF-score for the language structures, writing and self assessment components. To ensure you have the required level, please complete our online English Placement Test.
This course aims to develop and improve Business English language and professional skills at a B2+ level. At the end of this course, you will be able to express yourself better in Business English, both orally and in writing.
During the course, instructions will be given on how to improve your language skills. You will be doing exercises which will be corrected online. You will also be interacting with your fellow course participants on both writing and speaking exercises. During the face-to-face sessions there will be ample opportunity for fluency practice. Other activities will include setting up a business role play or discussing a business topic. You will receive feedback from your trainer both orally and in writing throughout the course.
The course is aimed to last 8 weeks, however you will have access to the course for a period of three months. This way, you are free to organise your time flexibly. The advised self-study load is 3 hours per week.
The language of instruction is English.
You will receive a certificate of attendance if you have completed 7 of the 8 modules and attended both face-to-face sessions.
